Those have been the questions that we have been asked here lately.:-)
Our plans are to go to Charleston, SC on Tuesday(6/1). Daniel will be having the surgery at MUSC. He will spend the day on Wed.(6/2) having several test done along with a heart cath. Then on Thurs.(6/3) he will have surgery. He will be having his aorta replaced and also his aortic valve replace with a mechanical valve. We will do our best to update this blog to keep you posted on Daniel. Thank you for loving us and praying for our family. We are so blessed with wonderful friends and family. We love each of one you!

Daniel's Story
Daniel was born with a faulty aortic valve. When he was 18 years old he had his 1st open heart surgery to replace his valve. When in surgery, the doctor was able to repair instead of replacing the valve, which was a huge blessing from God. Daniel was told that the repaired valve would last around 5 years or so and then he would have to get a replacement. Here we are 16 years later and it is now time to replace the valve. God has been so faithful and we know that He is going to carry us through this journey just like He has before. Thank you all for loving our family and praying for us.

We are two old time Air Force friends of your parents and it has been many years since we have seen you. Knew you when you were a little tike. Please know that we will be in constant prayer for you and your beautiful family. God is in control, what a beautiful reasurrance.

What a blessing to know that we can pray for you in this season. We too trust that the Lord will give his constant care over Daniel throughout this process. I love this verse from my devotional last week, the devotional was called Resolute Trust and the verse, Isaiah 26:3..You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
